What a night! On May 4th, 2025, the Riverside Community Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program gathered at the stunning Fox Theater in Pomona to celebrate our graduating residents and, for the last time, our preliminary residents. It was an evening packed with pride, good vibes, and some seriously fun moments.
We heard inspiring words from our incredible faculty, Dr. Popa, Dr. Kubomoto, Dr. Hwang, Dr. Patel, and Dr. Niu as they sent our graduates off to their next big adventures. Keeping the energy high and the laughs coming were our own talented second-year residents, Drs. Dustin Nguyen and Zahir Moussa, who absolutely nailed their emcee duties.
The residents even threw a fun challenge at our leadership team! They had to guess the graduates from their baby pictures and by their voices. Of course, the leadership team got a perfect 100%!

The whole evening was a beautiful reflection of the hard work, dedication, and awesome teamwork that defines our Internal Medicine program. We couldn’t be prouder of every single one of our residents and wish them all the very best for the future!
