The Riverside Community Hospital Internal Medicine team made their mark at Kidney Week this year! It is always a highlight for our program to see residents sharing their hard work and scholarship on such a major national stage.
Dr. Ashley Tang and Dr. Dustin Nguyen represented the program with two impressive case reports presented to the nephrology community:
- Dr. Ashley Tang presented “Crystal Clear Consequences: TMP-SMX Induced Nephrolithiasis.”
- Dr. Dustin Nguyen presented “From Proteinuria to Platelet Crisis: NSAID-Triggered Minimal Change Disease Leading to Secondary Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura.”
Of course, it wasn’t just about the filtration rates. The exhibit hall puppies were a major hit!
