HCA Riverside Community Hospital (RCH) serves as our primary inpatient training site. Although it is a “community hospital” by name, it offers robust services with 547 licensed beds, an 82-bed emergency department, and a 69-bed intensive care unit.
The hospital features a Level 1 Trauma Center, Advanced Primary Heart Attack Center, Chest Pain Center, STEMI-receiving center, and a comprehensive stroke center. Our emergency department and catheterization lab are among the busiest in California. The campus also includes a cancer center and a dedicated building for all graduate medical education programs.
Riverside Community Hospital is in the top 5% of hospitals nationwide for overall clinical performance across the most common conditions and procedures, and has been awarded HealthGrades America’s 250 Best Hospitals Award. It has also received the HealthGrades Patient Safety Excellence Award for 2017-2023.

The Riverbrock building at RCH is space dedicated to the Graduate Medical Education programs. Located on campus, it offers space for residents to commune, work, and study. In Riverbrock, we have:
